Run Forest Run

Who would have thought that we would go running again??? It was so emotional to run together in the forest. Me, running and walking next to Christophe, seeing that he’s trying so hard to work on his health, his recovery and want to get the most out of every day that’s given to us. Of course we didn’t run that long, but every week a little further is already an amazing progress. Only 3 months after his surgery, his radiation treatment and that during his chemo! Unbelievable. We are grateful.

In the meantime these lovely moments (and many others) are captured in my book, I’m making progress due to the support of my fantastic publisher. Otherwise I was afraid that it might never finish. It’s good to have some pressure :-) The purpose of going live is December! If you are looking for a Christmas gift let me know . First version will be in Dutch.

Besides we continue our search for alternative treatments, medications, food etc. Anyone who has information about alternative treatments outside the regular hospitals, please let us know. It would help us so much. Also books are welcome. Because it’s a long search and we are amazed  there’s so much proof that chemo and radiation is not always the best and/or most successful treatment, but it’s still recommended by the hospitals. To find the right path (and the serious ones) is a very long journey. Imagine that more than 600.000 people in the Netherlands alone are diagnosed with cancer every year? I just don’t believe it! If I would start another company, I would focus on alternative treatments for cancer patients. I sincerely believe there’s a hole in the market!

After months of lockdown, we are happy to welcome people in our garden (not inside) and it gives so much joy and energy.  No hugs or kisses yet, that will come later (and I hope very soon)

Did you know we had our first cup of tea on the terrace in Alkmaar, so nice. It feels like you are more ‘alive’ and be part of the normal life (whatever the normal might be in these times). And not to forget to mention we spent the weekend in a cottage in the countryside in the Netherlands, it was so joyful to escape the house and to change the environment. Travelling abroad will probably not for this year (we count Belgium not really as abroad..). Perhaps Barcelona.. I would really see my (industry) friends back during IBTM, I keep my fingers crossed.. And I know many others with me :-)

Last but not least : this summer summer you can listen to my podcast channel (yes! another great project will go online very soon) for anyone who’s interested to know more about B2B influencer marketing. Also fantastic projects in the pipeline for autumn, business is back. And I sincerely hope that this trend is not only for my company but for many others as well, especially for tourism and the meetings & events industry. Keep the faith guys!

Have a joyful summer cherish the beautiful moments.
